GAO Releases New Report on Homeless and Foster Youth

On May 19, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a report on the challenges and barriers affecting the ability of homeless and foster youth to pursue a college education. The report makes clear federal reforms in eligibility for and access to financial aid must be made to give foster and homeless youth a fair opportunity at a successful adulthood through higher education and training.
